It's Santa Claus

Weslie couldn't wait to see Santa Claus, so we took a quick trip to the local mall. Now that Weslie is getting older we're getting better at not trying to dress her in cute little seasonal costumes, but poor Gabbie didn't stand a chance.

Say Cheese

Not much going on. Mary will be going back to work after Thanksgiving, so we're going out more trying to do some things together. Today we went to Chuck E. Cheese, and it wasn't that bad. The idea of dozens of kids running around screaming covered in pizza was terrifying, but it was actually very nice. We went at lunch, so it wasn't crowded, and Weslie had a ball.

Six weeks later. . .

And, all in all I would say that things are going OK. Christmas is approaching fast, and that means a lot of shopping and getting ready for a trip back to Mississippi. Gabbie is doing fine. There are times when she gets fussy, and when she gets off on her sleeping nobody's happy. Weslie also has been having her ups and downs, but over all she's doing great. Friday we went and some professional portraits taken of the two girls, and they did great. Nobody cried or fussed or complained and the pictures turned out beautiful.

Happy Halloween

We had a very busy Halloween weekend. There was a costume parade Saturday morning, then a Fall Festival that night at our church. Sunday we went out to a local farm that had hay rides out to a pumpkin patch, so you could pick your own. Finally Halloween came and it was all about tricker-or-treating.
