Star of Stage and Screen

Weslie was in her first play. Our church was having a special Christmas play that featured the children and youth. Weslie and her group gave gifts to the baby Jesus while they sang Happy Birthday. Weslie did such a good job. We could not be prouder. Here is a video clip of the play.

Early Santa

Santa came early this year. This was the first year that we put up a tree or anything, because we always go back to Mississippi for the Holidays. Weslie is getting older and it just seemed right that we do something here too. So, we put up a tree with all the trimmings, and had ourselves a nice little Christmas. Weslie and Gabbie didn't seem to care that it was a week early.

One Week Down

Well, Mary just finished her first week back at work, which means that Danny just finished his first week home alone with Weslie and Gabbie. All in all I would say that everything went well even though a good night's sleep is still hard to come by. Gabbie is really growing. She's not crying as much, very alert, and a lot of smiles. Weslie has become very interested in the potty, and doesn't want to wear diapers much because she's a "big girl" now.
