I (Danny) ran in my first 5k today. I had a few different venues to choose from but chose to run in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. I thought that it would be less crowded than the Baltimore run and plus if I'm going to give my money to someone I couldn't think of a better cause. As far as it being less crowded I wonder if any of the other 30,000 plus thought that? Anyway, it was a beautiful day but cold. I got in a fairly fast crowd and was able to keep up and finished with a time of 23:40. A personal record.found this photo of the race on flickr by Mr_Matt
