Won't Back Down

Just a few weeks ago Brian was content to be wherever you put him. Then he started scooting and after that he started crawling. His crawling has progressed pretty well and it's been fun to sit back and watch him move around the room. However, now that he has decided that he wants to pull up on everything, his little expeditions have become a lot more treacherous and he's become a lot more determined.

Moving On Up

Well, as you can see, it's goodbye to the infant car seat and hello to the big boy seat. At first it seemed like no big deal; it took just 10 minutes to swap out the seats. After one trip though it became obvious that this was going to be a big change.

Rocket Man

With the warm weather we've had it's been great to get outside. The girls were excited to get out and play and headed straight for the swings. It just so happened that we still had Weslie's and Gabbie's little red baby swing, so Brian was able to join in on the fun. He seemed to enjoy his first time in the little red rocket.

Our Little Treasure Hunt

We've had really nice weather this weekend so of course everyone is outside doing general warm weather related activities. Which is great, unless you're a little under the weather like Gabbie was, but she's been making a strong comeback so we thought we'd do something special. A Treasure Hunt. You might not know this but there are these little boxes, called letterboxes, hidden all over the place. We found our first one on the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. There was a journal inside which we signed and stamped and a stamp which we use to mark our own journal. Maybe after we find some more we'll make and hide our own.

This is Going to Complicate Things

Brian has decided that he no longer wants to stay where he's been put. While he's not crawling he's able to do a scooty, inch-wormy thing that gets him to whatever has grabbed his attention. He does start out in the proper hands and knees crawling position, but doesn't seem to know what more to do besides rock back and forth.
