Bicycle - Revisted and Remixed

We took Weslie's training wheels off a while back and have been helping her learn to ride without them, but our neighborhood is quite hilly and by the time she got going she had to stop. That's no way to learn how to ride a bike. She needed wideopen spaces where she could really spread her wings and get some real time in the seat. Thankfully, there are a lot of parking lots (I'm probably the only person who's ever said that).

Happy Father's Day

What makes Father's Day so special? Well, for me it's Weslie, Gabbie, and Brian and having a great dad of my own.

Brian's Walking

Brian took his first steps weeks ago and has been continually getting better, but in typical third child fashion I've been a little lax of getting it on video. Well no more, I spent some time today following Brian around trying to finally capture his early walking skills. He still seems to prefer crawling, especially when he's in a hurry, but it won't be long till he's a true walker.

It's Tooth Fairy Time

Breaking News! Weslie lost her first tooth. It had been wiggly for weeks but why we tried to pull it before it just didn't seem to want to come out. To be honest we were probably a little too timid with our first pulling attempts. Tonight Weslie was complaining that she couldn't bite because her wiggly tooth hurt. This time it was super wiggly and her new tooth was already starting to show. That tooth had to come out, but it held firm against our pathetic Kleenex assisted attempts. Then Danny made a lasso with some dental floss, roped that stubborn tooth, and freed it with a light pull.

Update: She lost another tooth the next morning.

So How's Brian Doing?

Brian is about to be 11 months old . . . 11 months. His first birthday is really approaching fast. The biggest news is that he just had tubes put in his ears. He did great and the procedure took less than 15 minutes, but it was still a little never racking for us. Brian is still as active as ever and is trying to walk, and we were wondering, "Now that his ears are clear will his balance be better?".
